  • Device Sensors: Data from device sensors (e.g., heart rate monitoring, if enabled) is stored on device and in iCloud if that functionality is enabled.
  • Analytics & Crash Reporting: Anonymous device identifiers and usage data collected through Sentry and PostHog.
  • Subscription & Purchase Data: Managed by the App Store and RevenueCat to facilitate in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Why We Collect Data

Collected data is used to improve app performance, fix bugs, analyze user behavior, and ensure seamless purchase experiences.

2. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share analytics data anonymously with the following third-party services:

  • Sentry: For anonymous crash reporting and bug detection.
  • PostHog: For anonymous usage analytics and feature improvement insights.
  • RevenueCat: For handling in-app purchases and subscription management.

  • Purchase history (handled securely by RevenueCat, with no direct access to payment details).

3. Data Storage & Security

  • On-device: User preferences and local data remain stored on the user’s device.
  • iCloud: Data may be backed up securely using Apple’s CloudKit services.
  • Third-Party Services: Analytics and crash reports are securely managed by Sentry, PostHog, and RevenueCat, which comply with GDPR and CCPA regulations.

4. User Rights & Controls

Users can request deletion of their data as follows:

  • Sentry: Users may contact support to request deletion of any stored crash logs linked to their device.
  • PostHog: Users can request anonymization or deletion of their analytics data by contacting support.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase data is managed by RevenueCat; users can request deletion through RevenueCat’s privacy request portal.
  • On-Device Data: Users can delete all local app data by uninstalling the Breathwork by Inner State app.

Opting Out of Data Collection

There is no opt-out mechanism for analytics and crash reporting, as all collected data is anonymous and necessary for improving app performance. However, users can disable certain data collection features by adjusting their device settings.
